Mark Alberts was appointed executive vice president and chief actuary of Conseco, Inc. in December 2006.
Since rejoining Conseco in 2004, Alberts has served in various actuarial roles, most recently as chief actuary for the Conseco Insurance Group, comprised of the Conseco insurance companies based in Carmel, Indiana.
From 2001-2004, Alberts served as senior vice president and chief actuary for Standard Management Corporation. Before that, he worked at Conseco from 1991-2001, ultimately serving as vice president, corporate actuarial.
Alberts holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Purdue University at Indianapolis. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is also a member and past president of the Actuarial Club of Indianapolis. |
