Mark D. Lebow is a founding partner and the managing partner in the New York office of the law firm Sokolow, Dunaud, Mercadier & Carreras. He concentrates his practice in general commercial matters, including international corporate contracts and agreements, dispute resolution and litigation, real estate, and media law.
Mr. Lebow was previously a partner with 34 years of practice at Coudert Brothers, an international law firm with 25 offices around the world. He was the administrative head of the firm’s real estate department, administrative head of its litigation department, and administrative partner based in the New York office. He has tried commercial contract, real estate, and securities cases in federal courts in the United States and in New York State trial courts, and he is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Lebow received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, magna cum laude, in 1961, and his law degree from Harvard University in 1964. For 12 years he was chairman of the New York City Civil Service Commission. He currently serves as chairman of St. Francis Friends of the Poor, Inc., as a trustee of St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, New York, and as president of American Red Magen David for Israel, Inc., which supports Israel's equivalent Red Cross Society. |
