Mark C. Witt is a shareholder in the Corporate Practice Group in Godfrey & Kahn's Milwaukee office. His practice is focused on business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital. Mark has been involved in numerous public and private business transactions and restructurings, including several hedge fund investments. He was a delegate for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett's 2005 Trade Mission to China and Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle's 2007 Trade Mission to Japan and China. He is listed in Chambers & Partners. Mark completed his undergraduate education in political science at Stanford University and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the YMCA Holton Youth Center, a member of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee Emerging Leaders Council, and a member of the Advisory Board of WIN-Milwaukee.
