Mark C. Silvera , a resident of Fremont, is the Senior Vice President of Deposits and Cash Management Services. Prior to joining Bridge Bank in December 2003, Mark was Senior Vice President and Senior Business Analyst at Greater Bay Bancorp in Palo Alto. He worked with the Chief Operating Officer and 11 subsidiary Bank Presidents, providing analytical information and enhanced management reporting primarily for deposit products and sales efforts. From 1996 to 2001, Mark held management positions of increasing responsibility in Finance and Information Technology at San Jose National Bank, and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer prior to the Bank's acquisition by Greater Bay Bancorp. During this period Mark provided significant strategic guidance for implementation of a customer profitability system, core banking systems conversion, Year 2000 readiness, merger integration, and implementation of check imaging.
Mark's 28-year banking career is extensive and varied, including both larger and smaller banks. His community banking positions include Vice President and Controller of Cupertino National Bank, and Vice President and Senior Financial Analyst at Pacific Western Bank in San Jose. Mark spent over 12 years with Wells Fargo, filling increasingly responsible positions, primarily in the Retail bank, leaving as Division Finance Manager in 1988 to move into the community banking arena. Mark holds an MBA degree from the University of Southern California, and a BA degree from UCLA. |
