Mark A. Hershey was appointed Senior Vice President General Counsel and Secretary for IKON Office Solutions in March 2005 and reports directly to Matthew J. Espe Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In this role he is responsible for the supervision of IKON's legal and regulatory affairs.
Previously Hershey spent six years with IKON in positions of increasing responsibility most recently serving as Vice President of Transactional Law. In that role he had primary legal responsibility for Board of Directors SEC and corporate governance matters while also overseeing the legal aspects of IKON's Six Sigma national accounts marketing and vendor programs. In addition Hershey had a lead role in negotiating the divestiture of IKON's North American leasing business and the resulting lease program with GE Commercial Finance.
Prior to joining IKON Hershey was an Associate in the corporate department of Stradley Ronon in Philadelphia specializing in mergers and acquisitions and technology law.
Hershey holds a bachelor's degree in finance from The Pennsylvania State University and earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He currently serves as pro bono counsel for the Y-Me Foundation of New England a regional affiliate of the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization.
