Mr. Ernst is Chairman of the Board President and Chief Executive Officer of H&R Block Inc. a global provider of tax preparation investment mortgage and accounting services. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2002 Chief Executive Officer in 2001 and President in 1999. Mr. Ernst also serves on the board of Knight Ridder Inc. Mr. Ernst serves on the Executive Audit and Compensation and Development committees.
He holds an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from Drake University. |
