Margie Grossberg is a Partner and Co-Leader of the Global Associate Practice Group in the New York office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Over the last seven years, Margie has engaged in a highly successful practice of placing attorneys in legal departments of prominent corporations and in top-tier national, international and regional law firms. Margie has assisted with placements of attorneys of different levels and in a wide array of practices, including corporate law, litigation, real estate, bankruptcy, employment, taxation and individual client departments.
Margie earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University, where she was the Class Valedictorian as well as a Cornell Ambassador. Margie received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to entering the field of legal search, Margie practiced corporate law, first at a midsized boutique where she focused on the representation of a prominent corporate raider and later at one of the largest law firms in the country, where she specialized in both securities matters and M&A transactions. Margie uses her experience as a former practicing attorney (as well as a former lateral candidate) in order to enrich the experiences of her candidates.
Margie is a native New Yorker who enjoys traveling, exercise, wine tasting, mastering New York Times crossword puzzles and long walks with Fozzie, her Bernese mountain dog.
