Mr. Mario Cesar Pereira de Araujo began his career in 1967 working for Entel. After spells at Eletromar and Standard Elettrica, he worked at Telerj as head of department for six years, from 1973 to 1977.
He moved to Embratel in 1977, where he stayed for 20 years as he worked his way up the company.
He was hired by Splice do Brasil in 1997 as Director of Services.
Mr. Mario Cesar Pereira de Araujo was appointed Chairman and Market Relations Manager at mobile carrier Tele Centro Oreste Celular (TCO) in 1998. The following year he became Chairman of Norte Brazil Telecom (NBT), a mobile carrier operating in the Brazilian states of Maranhão, Amapá, Pará, Amazonas and Roraima. He remained at this post until 2003, when he transferred to TIM Brasil, where he held the post of Chairman at TIM Celular.
Mr. Mario Cesar Pereira de Araujo is Chairman of the Ronald MacDonald Institute Scientific Committee, and a board member of ACEL (the Associação Nacional dos Prestadores do Serviço Móvel Celular). |
