Marilyn Lindenauer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Eye-Banks from 1989 until her retirement in 1998. During her tenure as CEO, she served on the Board of the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) from 1994 through 1998, and was a member or chair of multiple EBAA committees. She received the Leonard Heise Award in 1999, the highest award presented to non-physicians by EBAA. Prior to being at the Eye-Bank, Marilyn held various administrative healthcare positions at the University of Michigan Medical Center and School of Public Health, from which she received her Master’s Degree in the Department of Health Management and Policy.Marilyn is a member of the Ann Arbor Host Lions Club. Since her retirement, she spends her time traveling with her husband, visiting their 10 grandchildren, reading and enjoying life in Ann Arbor and at their up-north cottage. |
