Lyn Domenick is an paralegal in Faegre & Benson’s Denver office. Lyn assists employee benefits attorneys with all aspects of their practice. Lyn’s responsibilities include drafting and amending all types of plans, resolutions, documents and related employee communications materials for defined contribution plans (including profit sharing, 401(k), 403(b), money purchase pension and employee stock ownership plans), defined benefit plans, medical plans, cafeteria plans, and other welfare plans. Lyn has experience in researching qualified plan issues, COBRA requirements, IRS and DOL regulations, and health and welfare plan questions. She has extensive experience reviewing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) and drafting QDRO procedures, including DROs for governmental organizations. Lyn has drafted numerous IRS submissions for qualified plan determination letters as well as submissions under the IRS voluntary corrections program. Lyn has over 16 years of experience in the employee benefits field. Before joining the employee benefits profession, Lyn was a geologist with a small oil company in Denver. Lyn received her undergraduate degree from The University of Rochester in New York and earned her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certificate, jointly issued by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans. Lyn also completed some coursework in the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program. Lyn is a member of the Western Pension and Benefits Conference in Denver. |
