Marilou Mirkovich is a partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Ms. Mirkovich represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law. She focuses on defending discrimination claims in federal and state courts and handles matters pending before the EEOC, DFEH, and FEHC. Ms. Mirkovich is a member of the California State Bar, American Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar, Labor Law Section. Ms. Mirkovich is also on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. She has written many articles for publication in periodicals relating to employment and labor law. Ms. Mirkovich is a frequent speaker to various organizations on labor and employment issues. Ms. Mirkovich has served as President of the Board of Directors for the Community Family Guidance Center, an organization which provides low cost mental health care to families at risk in the communities of Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Norwalk and Paramount. She has also been an active participant in the Los Angeles County Bar Association AIDS HOSPICE Project. |
