Marie Pollio practices in the areas of complex financial transaction deals and defaults. Marie represents clients in a wide variety of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including corporate debt issuances, leveraged lease, cross-border lease, and single-investor lease transactions, and other secured financings. Marie also has extensive experience representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and reorganization matters, and has been actively involved in representing institutional creditors in some of the nation’s largest Chapter 11 cases, including the recent Delta Airlines, Inc., Calpine Corporation, Mirant Corporation, and The Wornick Company bankruptcies. She has particular experience representing indenture trustees and other fiduciaries for public debt in default situations, enforcing remedies and negotiating recoveries, in various industries, including airlines, energy, manufacturing, finance and in the default of industrial development bond financings.
