Maribeth Walsh, Esq. has been involved in the title insurance industry since 1983. She presently serves as Vice President and Special Counsel for Stewart Title Insurance Company. She also serves as Vice President and Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Maribeth joined Stewart Title in October of 1994. Prior to joining Stewart Title, she had been employed as counsel for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. Maribeth has extensive experience in title insurance underwriting and title insurance claims and litigation and is a frequent lecturer on title insurance and real estate related topics. Maribeth has been approved by The New York State Department of State, Bureau of Educational Standards to instruct real estate qualifying and continuing education courses. Maribeth is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Association of Real Estate Women and the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Past President of the Catholic Lawyers? Guild of the Diocese of Rockville Centre and is a Director and Past President of the Holy Cross College Club of Long Island. A member of the New York State Bar since 1987, Maribeth is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (A.B., 1983) and St. John?s University School of Law (J.D., 1986).
