Maria Crenna was named Executive Vice President, CBS Paramount Network Television in September 2004. She reports directly to David Stapf, President, CBS Paramount Network Television. In her position, Crenna oversees the studio's departments dedicated to drama and comedy development and supports studio senior management in all strategic objectives. She currently oversees 20 primetime series including network series such as the CSI franchise, MEDIUM, NCIS, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS, GIRLFRIENDS, NUMB3RS and new series JERICHO, 3LBS and THE GAME.
Since October 1999, Crenna had been Executive Vice President, CBS Productions, CBS's in-house production arm, which was merged into CBS Paramount Network Television in September 2004.
Under Crenna's guidance, CBS Productions, in conjunction with its studio partners, launched the hits JUDGING AMY, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, CSI: MIAMI, WITHOUT A TRACE, STILL STANDING, JOAN OF ARCADIA and COLD CASE. |
