Margriet Gabriel-Regis is senior vice president, Specialty Care Customer Group, for the Global Pharmaceutical Business of Schering-Plough Corporation.
Gabriel-Regis joined Schering-Plough in September 2003. She is responsible for developing and directing the implementation of comprehensive global marketing and sales strategies for the company's specialty care products. She also is responsible for managing the U.S. specialty product P&L, as well as strategic marketing and shared P&L accountability with the country operations for each global franchise. Additionally, she co-chairs both specialty development committees and is a member of the Pharmaceutical Leadership Board.
Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Gabriel-Regis held the position of group vice president - hospital and specialty for Pharmacia Corporation, where she managed P&L in the U.S. market and globally across five therapeutic franchises. She had joined Pharmacia Corporation in 2000 as group vice president, hospital. Previously, she was employed by Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, where she held various leadership roles in strategic planning and marketing. Gabriel-Regis began her career at Lederle International, which subsequently merged with Wyeth. During the course of her 13 years there, she held a number of increasingly responsible positions in finance, sales, marketing and regional and country management.
Gabriel-Regis earned a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and an M.B.A. degree in finance from Pace University, New York.
