Margaret M. Pego was named senior vice president human resources and chief human resources officer of PSEG Services Corporation, in December 2006. Prior, she had been vice president human resources.
Ms. Pego joined PSEG in 1974 and has held a variety of management positions in the human resources department.
Ms. Pego holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from William Paterson College and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in management and labor relations from Seton Hall University.
In addition, she holds a certificate in EEO studies from Cornell University and has also completed the Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan. She is also certified as a senior professional in human resources.
Ms. Pego is active in several local and national organizations, including the EEI Chief HR Executives Policy Committee, the American Gas Association HR Policy Committee, The Conference Board Advisory Council of HR Management Council of HR Executives, the New York/New Jersey Industry Liaison Group, and the Society for Human Resources Management. She is also a former member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Attorney Ethics Committee.
Ms. Pego is a 2002 Leadership New Jersey graduate, a 1997 TWIN Honoree, and a 2006 Executive Woman of New Jersey Honoree. In addition, she is a member of the board of trustees of the American Conference on Diversity and the Boys and Girls Club Concert for Kids Committee. Ms. Pego is also active in the Governor Livingston High School Band Parent Organization and the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, New Jersey. |
