Margaret H. Warner is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. She is the partner-in-charge of the Trial Department in Washington, and is a member of the Firm's Management Committee. She also is Co-Chair of the Firm's interdisciplinary Insurance Markets Practice Group. Ms. Warner is recognized as a leading insurance lawyer in the 2006 edition of Chambers USA.
Ms. Warner concentrates her practice on complex litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on disputes in the international insurance and reinsurance markets. Her practice involves insurance coverage, reinsurance, commercial and environmental, mass tort and product liability litigation.
Ms. Warner has served as lead counsel in federal and state trial and appellate courts in 25 states. She has tried numerous cases to juries, judges and arbitration panels.
In addition, she has served as national coordinating counsel to clients, coordinating company-wide positions, providing guidance on national issues and trying high-exposure cases.
Ms. Warner is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and before the Supreme Court of the United States and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, Federal, Third, Fifth, Seventh and Tenth Circuits. She is a member of the American Bar Association, International Association of Defense Counsel and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
