Marcus J. Collier
Division Senior Vice President, Civilian/Homeland Security Solutions
Marcus Collier is Division Senior Vice President of the Civilian/Homeland Security Solutions, one of General Dynamics Information Technology's five divisions. Mr. Collier joined the company (at the time Anteon Corporation) in June 1997 as a Department Manager supporting the Aegis Destroyer program. During his eight years there, he served in several management positions, and was instrumental in expanding the company's presence into other shipbuilding programs as well as securing training and information technology contracts in the Navy, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the US Army reserves. His business unit was an established key resource in the Navy and US Coast Guard shipbuilding programs, and a leading edge provider of Information Technology solutions within DoD and DHS.
Mr. Collier has held engineering and management positions at PRC, a professional services corporation in Washington, DC. During his last three years at PRC, he served as the Program Management Core Competency Director, assessing the overall corporate efficiency, identifying industry best practices, and bringing them into the corporation through comprehensive training programs and internal process improvement. Mr. Collier holds a bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a MBA in International Finance from George Washington University.
