Marcie Haitema joined U.S. Central in August 2005 and is responsible for the correspondent services division, which includes the areas of payment and technology services and related operations and member support. This involves managing key areas in U.S. Central such as APEX-ACH, securities safekeeping, automated settlement, international services and core financial data processing. Ms. Haitema is an industry leader in the electronic funds transfer business. Prior to joining U.S. Central, she served in a number of executive positions with J.P. Morgan Chase, most recently as senior vice-president of the electronic funds transfer division. During her 12 years at Chase, Ms. Haitema led a team of more than 300 employees who served the ACH needs of more than 14,000 clients, settling $120 billion daily in domestic and international ACH transactions, growing the Chase ACH business at double digits rates year-over-year, thus positioning Chase as the largest ACH processor in the world with 25 percent market share. |
