Marcia is a member of the firm’s Public Finance section, and brings more than twenty years of experience to clients of Coats Rose. She began her legal career with the law firm of Armogida & Coats in 1983 and remained with the Firm as it evolved into Coats Rose. She became Of Counsel with the Firm in 1998. Practice Emphasis Marcia works in the area of public finance and serves as general counsel and bond counsel to various political subdivisions, primarily water districts. Her responsibilities include advising clients and handling legal matters related to actions taken by the governing bodies of water districts, negotiation of contracts, environmental issues, issues related to real estate development, property tax issues, state and federal regulatory matters, and the sale of bonds to finance public facilities. |
