Marci Rechtenbach is a member of Jones Waldo’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on employment law, employee benefit plan litigation, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. She has successfully represented clients in a wide range of cases in both state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. In addition to successes at the trial court level, Marci has obtained favorable decisions for her clients in the Utah Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Utah Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all Utah state and federal courts, as well as the Tenth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Marci was born and raised in Vernal, Utah. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Utah State University in 1995, and her Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1998. While at Brigham Young University, she was a member of the Brigham Young University Law Review, received an award for scholarly legal writing, and was a finalist for Best Oral Argument in the First Year Moot Court Competition. She joined Jones Waldo in 1998. |
