Marcello Vinci brings over 20 years of telecom experience to Nakina Systems, where he is responsible for the company’s overall operational and sales activities in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Prior to joining Nakina, he spent 6 years at Granite Systems in pre-sales and sales roles where he successfully achieved strategic deployments of network inventory and provisioning systems for Tier 1 accounts in Europe. Marcello led the team that built the Granite business in Telecom Italia from scratch, commercially and operationally, into a multimillion Euro, multiyear revenue stream. This business received international industry attention and encouraged Telcordia Technologies to purchase Granite Systems. Marcello went on to become the Country Manager for Italy, Greece and Israel at Telcordia Technologies where he was responsible for creating and leading the “A-Team” that implemented the landmark and award-winning next generation OSS services transformation in Telecom Italia. Marcello is based in Rome, Italy and is fluently bilingual in Italian and English. He holds an Executive MBA from Insead, Fontainebleau, France. |
