Dr. Marc Walter serves as the Director of the Emergency Department at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas, California. Dr. Walter was in charge of Quality Improvement at Marshall Hospital in Placerville, California and for the Sierra Pacific Emergency Medical Group. Dr. Walter previously worked as Assistant Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California. He worked as Assistant Director at Westside District Hospital in Taft, California. He worked as an Emergency Physician at Sutter General Hospital, Sutter Memorial Hospital, Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Hospital, all in Sacramento, California. Dr. Walter is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. Walter completed his Flexible Internship and Residencies in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Kern Medical Center/University of California at Los Angeles in Bakersfield, California. |
