Marc E. Lewis, I&M's Vice President - External Relations, has responsibility for corporate communications, state government relations, environmental relations and community relations in both Indiana and Michigan.
Previously, he was AEP's assistant general counsel for Legal - Regulatory Services, based in Fort Wayne. In that role, he had responsibilities for regulatory activities in the Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas jurisdictions. In addition to regulatory matters, Marc previously had responsibilities for corporate legal matters, bankruptcy issues, energy delivery matters and legislative affairs.
Marc earned a law degree from Ohio State University in 1981. Previously he had earned his economics degree from the University of Kentucky in 1977, and did graduate studies in economics at Ohio State University in 1980.
Before joining AEP in 1986, Marc was a staff attorney with the West Virginia Public Service Commission. He has served as chair of the legal committee of the Indiana Energy Association, and is past chair of the Utility Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. |
