Marc Levante is senior vice president of Azingo. A 20-year veteran of the mobile communications industry, Marc brings significant executive experience in technology development, network deployment and global implementation for broadband and mobile Internet applications. Known as an exceptional strategist and evangelist, Marc has grown the market by developing advanced product, network and ecosystem requirements as well as personally championing the cooperative adoption of important mobile industry standards. Marc was vice president of technology for Vodafone, where he developed solutions with product management and marketing teams that were implemented globally across all mobile network functions. From Vodafone, he joined OpenWave as CTO, where he shaped the roadmap and development strategy of software applications for handset manufacturers and mobile broadband and fixed-line operators. Most recently, Levante was CEO of myZenPlanet, a company specializing in applications to mobilize social networking Internet services. |
