Marc R. Briggs is senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He joined Sierra in 2000 as assistant corporate controller. Briggs was appointed assistant vice president, corporate controller in 2005 and as vice president, finance, in January 2006. He was promoted to his current position in April 2007. From 1997 to 2000, he was corporate controller for OB Sports, the owner and operator of golf projects throughout the west coast. Briggs was previously an auditor in the Las Vegas office of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Briggs is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada State Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
