Biography
Marc N. Epstein joined Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP in 1988 and is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He has extensive experience counseling owners, developers, and investors in, as well as structuring transactions for, all types of matters pertaining to real estate. These include the acquisition, financing, and disposition of office buildings; the consolidation of private real estate holding companies; the acquisition of such holding companies by a public real estate investment trust; and the formation and initial public offering of related real estate entities.
Mr. Epstein also advises clients with regard to the structuring and negotiation of various agreements involving real estate development and operation, such as design and construction agreements, development agreements, and management/leasing agreements. He has been involved with numerous development projects across the country, including hotel, retail, office, residential, industrial, transportation, museum and entertainment projects. Mr. Epstein has negotiated well over a billion dollars worth of design, engineering, and construction contracts.
Marc and his wife, Bonnie, have three children: Blair, Brett, and Ginger. Marc enjoys golf and physical conditioning. He also has been involved in a local youth baseball program that makes team memberships available to children who might otherwise not be able to afford such activities.

Provided representation in the consolidation of a private real estate holding company and subsequent acquisition of such holding company by a public real estate investment trust

Represented owner/developer in connection with the negotiation and preparation of design, engineering, and construction agreements for a premier performing arts facility valued at the time of construction in excess of $60,000,000
Represented the owner/developer in connection with the negotiation and preparation of design, engineering, and construction agreements for a museum reviewed as a "temple of modern art," valued at the time of construction in excess of $65,000,000
