Mr. Herman joined KGS in November 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial management and reporting for the KGS organization.
Prior to joining KGS, Mr. Herman was the Chief Financial Officer for Ocean Systems Engineering Corporation (OSEC). During his four years with OSEC, the company produced an average annual revenue growth rate in excess of 30%. The company was sold to Apogen Technologies (a Qinetiq company) in May 2006 whereupon Mr. Herman continued with the acquiring company to help with the transition.
Mr. Herman comes to KGS with a 23-year background in the Government and Defense industry. During that time he held the top financial positions at companies such as OSEC, REMEC Defense and Space, Inc., Science and Applied Technology, Inc. (now a division of Alliant Techsystems, Inc.) and Areté Associates.
Mr. Herman holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cleveland State University and also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (inactive) from the state of Ohio. Mr. Herman began his professional career at the CPA firm of Grant Thornton. |
