Marc J. Adelsohn received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968 from Brooklyn College and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 1973 from Brooklyn Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Brooklyn Law Review. He began his legal career as law clerk to The Honorable Lee P. Gagliardi, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. Prior to becoming Of Counsel with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP in September 2005, Mr. Adelsohn was a member of the New York City law firms of Davis & Cox and Jacobs Persinger & Parker. Mr. Adelsohn has extensive experience in the fields of corporate acquisitions, divestitures and financing, and he has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to commercial real estate leasing and related transactions. He also has significant experience in the formation and operation of private investment entities and the design and implementation of executive compensation plans. Mr. Adelsohn was admitted to practice in New York in 1973 and is a member of the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Ninth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Federal Bar Council. |
