Marc I. Stern became a Director of the Company in February 1994. Mr. Stern has been with The TCW Group, Inc., an asset management firm, since 1990 and has served as its president since 1992. From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Stern served as president and a director of SunAmerica, Inc., a financial services company. Prior to joining SunAmerica, Mr. Stern was managing director and chief administrative officer of The Henley Group, Inc., a diversified manufacturing company, and prior to that Mr. Stern was senior vice president of Allied-Signal Inc., a diversified manufacturing company. Mr. Stern is chairman of TCW Galileo Funds, Inc., a registered investment company. Mr. Stern received a B.A. degree from Dickinson College, an M.A. degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Public Law and Government and a J.D. degree from the Columbia University School of Law. |
