Marc Hafner is an accomplished executive with 25 years of experience in strategic planning, market expansion, financing, operations and business development for global organizations such as BroadCloud Communications, Westell Technologies, On-Demand Technologies, E-Systems, Inc. and Tracor. Prior to joining PerformanceRetail, Hafner served as President and CEO of BroadCloud Communications, Inc., backed by Austin Ventures, TL Ventures and Access Partners, and which had a market leading software communications product that improved the reliability and performance of wide-area, wireless and narrowband networks for carriers, enterprises and technology providers. He effectively moved the company into a market leader position before successfully directing the sale of the company in the summer of 2003. Prior to BroadCloud, Mr. Hafner served as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy and was an Executive Officer at Westell Technologies which, during his tenure, grew from a private company with $60 million in revenues into a public $400 million profitable market leader in broadband communications. While at Westell, he directed strategic global alliances and new global market initiatives, as well as played a key role in the company's successful IPO and follow on fund raising initiatives as well as leading mergers and acquisitions.
