Mr. Rana is a Managing Director of Old Lane and leads the Firm's negotiated investments, with a focus on financial- and related services businesses. Mr. Rana joined Old Lane in 2007 and was previously a Managing Director at Lazard Alternative Investments, where he was responsible for equity and debt investments in financial- and related business and information services investments. Mr. Rana joined Lazard Freres & Co. in 1994, initially in financial institutions investment banking and from 2000 at Lazard Alternative Investments. Mr. Rana received a BA from Columbia University.
