Manfred von Nordheim serves as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and CEO. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EADS, Inc., formed in July 2000 through the merger of Aerospatiale Matra of France, DaimlerChrysler Aerospace of Germany and Construcciones Aeronauticas of Spain.
Prior to the creation of EADS, von Nordheim was President of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace of North America, Inc.
Other highlights of his career in Washington include serving as Washington Representative, and later President, of MBB (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm) of America and Director of the Washington research office of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation. Von Nordheim also worked with several Washington-based think tanks and consultancies active in transatlantic defense relations.
He holds a graduate degree from the Freie Universität Berlin, a Master of Arts in Political Science from Kent State University, Ohio, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |
