Manfred Caeser has extensive experience in the European pharmaceutical industry and assists clients with due diligence, reimbursement and market issues. Prior to joining Easton Associates, he held a number of positions at ALTANA Pharma in Konstanz, Germany, including Corporate Senior Director of Market Access and E-Communication, where he directed corporate activities related to health economy, pharmacoeconomic and health outcomes research, and market access (pricing and reimbursement). His responsibilities also included defining market access messages for global products, outlining strategy and tactics for price, reimbursement, and market access and dossiers to third party payers, which allowed him to develop expertise in e-communication strategies and IT based marketing tools. Dr. Caeser also held executive positions as a Senior Manager and Director of Health Outcomes with SmithKline Beecham Germany and Diversified Healthcare Systems (dhs) based in Munich, Germany. In addition, he worked in preclinical research in both industry and academia with SmithKline Beecham and Merck Sharpe & Dohme, in Harlow, UK and the Brain Research Institute at the University of Zürich. His research focused on cell biology and pharmacology with a special interest in pharmacology and biophysics of ion channel in CNS, CV, and pain research. Dr. Caeser received a Diploma in Biology from the University of Tübingen, Germany and a PhD from the University of Tüubingen/Max Planck Institute of Biological Cybernetics. |
