Prior to joining Huron Manfred was a Principal at Wellspring Valuation now a Huron Consulting Group Practice. Previously he served as Vice President in the Financial Consulting and Valuation Group at CBIZ/Valuation Counselors. Before that Manfred was a consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers working in the litigation assistance and valuation group specializing in the healthcare industry.
Manfred has consulted healthcare facilities with exploring options to expand market share with minimal capital outlays. Provided financial advisory and valuation services to a major southern not-for-profit health system in connection with the expansion of its outpatient surgical operations including significant due diligence advisory equity buy-in agreement restructuring recommendations and the provision of a valuation opinion for regulatory compliance purposes. The system then secured their market share in a competitive area and obtained equity interest in a leading surgical facility.
Led a team through the acquisition of a $100M revenue medical practice. Services included due diligence financial advisory on the physician practice and ancillary business operations negotiating valuation parameters and values with opposing valuation consultants and third party compliant valuation opinions on the acquired assets.
