School: Drury University
Mallory joined the KRCG news team as a reporter in May 2007. She is originally from Lake of the Ozarks and is thrilled to be back near her hometown, reporting for the news channel she grew up watching. Mallory loves being able to bring the news to mid-Missouri residents, especially her family, most of whom live in the Mid-Missouri area.
In 2007, Mallory graduated summa cum laude from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri where she majored in Integrated Media and minored in global studies. At Drury, Mallory helped to launch the university's first on-air programming. She anchored and produced their first news show, DU27, and ran studio camera for Drury's live music show, DUncut, which can now be seen on Springfield's CW channel. She also had the opportunity to interview legendary Drury alum Bob Barker when he came back to the university as a commencement speaker in 2007. While in Springfield, Mallory also interned at KY3, the local NBC affiliate.
What Mallory loves most about her job is that everyday there is something new and challenging to tackle. In her free time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching way too much TV (especially reality shows), and cheering on the Cardinals and the Chiefs with her family of fellow fans. |
