Mr. Hoenlein currently serves as the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, a position he has held since 1986. Mr. Hoenlein received his B.A. from Temple University in Political Science and his M.A., and Ph.D. course work in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, was awarded a Doctorate of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa) from Yeshiva University and a Doctorate of Laws (Honoris Causa) from Touro College. Mr. Hoenlein is an advisor to many public officials and a respected consultant on policy issues. He serves on the Boards of many communal, educational and civic organizations and on the Board of Directors of several companies including Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:KERX) and the Bank Leumi, USA.
