Mr. Kawaguchi was appointed president of FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. in April 2005.
Prior to this appointment Mr. Kawaguchi was deputy general manager of Fuji's Medical Systems Division, a position he began in June of 2003. In this role he was responsible for overseeing the global marketing efforts of all medical imaging film and equipment.
Mr. Kawaguchi's career with Fuji began more than 25 years ago when he joined the parent company, Fuji Photo Film Company, Ltd., Tokyo, in 1977. Throughout his tenure he has been instrumental in the international marketing and sales of Fuji's medical imaging products, gaining in-depth knowledge and experience while holding various senior management positions. From 2001 - 2003 he served as the senior operations manager for Japan's sales administration division, spearheading their domestic marketing initiatives. Prior to that he held a number of positions in both the equipment products and international marketing divisions, having a wide-range of responsibilities from managing medical imaging business administration efforts to leading the development and implementation of marketing and export sales strategies.
Mr. Kawaguchi received his bachelor's degree in international economics from Hitotsubashi University in Japan. |
