Mahadevan has over 15 years of experience in the development of networking and video products. He began his career at Silicon Graphics building CASE tools for multiprocessor video applications. He was the principal architect at Internet Devices Inc. - a developer of one of the first "Internet Appliance" products focused on distributed network security policy management - subsequently a cquired by Alcatel in June 1999. He was responsible for product architecture, planning and management of the engineering team. He was Principal Architect in the Alcatel IPVPN division responsible for product planning and technical architecture of Alcatel’s VPN line of products. Over the years he has developed an extensive knowledge of building scalable network applications and centrally managed solutions. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. |
