Coordination of the company's comprehensive research and development wing was the primary responsibility of M.K. Patterson, Jr., PhD, a distinguished scientist with an international reputation who served the company until his retirement in 2002. Dr. Patterson was a long-time IMTEC executive and created the company's extensive Product Development, Quality Assurance and Inventory Control Programs. Under his guidance, several premarket approval submissions were approved by the FDA as well as other international regulatory bodies. His work resulted in timely submissions and receipt of necessary agency certificates for numerous company products. Dr. Patterson holds bachelor and master degrees in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a PhD in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University. Author of numerous scientific publications and articles, Dr. Patterson retired from the Noble Foundation of Ardmore prior to joining IMTEC in 1992. He is an internationally known lecturer and speaker and has served as a director of the company since 1992. |
