Lynn Thrower joined Calypso Medical in May 2007, with more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience in industries including real estate, manufacturing, banking, insurance and public accounting. Prior to joining Calypso Medical, Ms. Thrower served as VP, Chief Accounting Officer at Shurgard Corporation, a real estate investment trust (REIT) with $500 million in revenues and $3 billion in assets. She managed the global finance and accounting team for Shurgard and successfully directed the Sarbanes Oxley compliance effort. Prior to joining Shurgard, she was the Corporate Controller for Rockford Corporation, a multinational manufacturer of high performance audio-systems. Responsibilities included internal and external reporting, and all SEC filings. Ms. Thrower was an integral part of the Initial Public Offering and several domestic and international acquisitions. Lynn received her BA in Spanish Literature at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and her MBA, specializing in Accounting, from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Certified Public Accountant. |
