Lynn Purdy joined Calypso® Medical in 2001 with more than 25 years of experience in developing and marketing medical devices in the radiology and cardiology markets. Mrs. Purdy served as marketing manager of interventional devices business operations at Acuson, a Siemens Corporation, prior to joining Calypso® Medical. In that capacity, she was responsible for the launch of the company’s first single-use product, the AcuNav® Diagnostic Ultrasound Catheter, used for visual guidance of interventional cardiology procedures. During her 14-year tenure with the company, she led product management and market launch programs for a number of successful ultrasound products. Lynn also worked for the Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group in clinical training, sales and international marketing. She is a Past President of the Medical Marketing Association and has one issued patent and one patent pending. Mrs. Purdy holds a bachelor of science degree in health services management from the University of Detroit and a certificate of management from the University of Washington, Graduate School of Business. |
