Lynn Moore is currently Vice President, Global Human Resources at Ciena Corporation. Prior to assuming this role in January 2004, Ms. Moore served as Ciena's Vice President of Compensation and Acquisition Strategy. Before joining Ciena, she spent more than fifteen years with Appleton Associates, a human resources consulting agency, ending her tenure with the firm as Partner. Ms. Moore also served as Director of Human Resources for the Telecommunications Group at Scientific Atlanta, Corporate Civil Rights Officer at Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, and Assistant Director of Admissions at Babson College.
Ms. Moore earned a Master of Science in Industrial Management (MSIM) from Georgia Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Arts from Russell Sage College. She also served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army at Ft. McClellan, Alabama.
Ms. Moore is a certified Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and member of the American Arbitration Association, Society for Human Resource Management, American Compensation Association, Atlanta Area Compensation Association, and Business & Technology Alliance (B&TA). |
