Lynn Hubbard focuses on building Major, Lindsey & Africa's corporate in-house practice in the Northwest. Prior to joining MLA, Lynn practiced maritime law and commercial litigation in Seattle. While practicing law, she volunteered as a CASA lawyer and served on the Advisory Board to the Youth Maritime Training Association. Lynn also co-founded a business that created and executive produced demonstration pilots for three separate television series for a proposed television channel, furthering her interests in media, advertising and technology. Before moving to Seattle, Lynn interned for a marine insurance firm in Gothenburg, Sweden, providing advice on U.S. law and handling maritime issues arising around the world.
Lynn graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School, and attended Tulane's summer program in Greece where she studied international and maritime law. She graduated with a B.A. in history from George Mason University.
Prior to attending Tulane Law School, Lynn served as a cook and later as a first mate on a live-aboard scuba diving boat for vacationers in the Bahamas, where she earned her 100-ton United States Coast Guard Masters' License.
Lynn lives in Seattle with her preschool aged son. She enjoys running, hiking, gardening and myriad other outdoor activities as well as coming up with business ideas she has no time to implement and reading business books.
