Lynn Casa has worked in the USBL offices since it began operations in 1985 and has filled many important roles during that time. As the USBL's Director of Administration her primary responsibility is to coordinate the internal operations of the League office. This well-rounded responsibility includes arranging the travel for League officials and maintaining correspondence with current and prospective franchises.
Additionally she serves as the contact person for corporate sponsors. Casa also provides extensive support to the USBL's marketing and public relations efforts. She also assists public relations efforts via the reporting of player and team transactions to the wire services the editing of press releases and all League publications. She also handles all souvenir sales and fan mail requests.
Over the past several seasons Casa has helped Wally Rooney and Al Mayles with the Officiating Crew. Her duties include being the direct contact between the League Office and each official. Casa also helps to put the Officiating schedules together to ensure that three officials will be at each USBL home game.
In addition to serving the League office Casa is the primary liaison with all member teams handling questions regarding all aspects of franchise and League operations. In order to maintain uniformity regarding all player personnel transactions and reporting procedures Casa serves as the central clearinghouse for the reporting of all team decisions.
Casa resides in Derby CT with her husband Domenic and 14 year-old daughter Alyssa. |
