Lynn Zuchowski's litigation practice centers on product liability defense. She also represents clients in matters involving business crime allegations and allegations of professional malpractice.
Lynn represents a pharmaceutical manufacturer in defense of numerous product liability claims in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. She has also defended a medical device manufacturer against product liability claims in Texas state court. Reflecting her work in this area, Lynn is a regular contributor to Foley Hoag LLP's quarterly Product Liability Update.
As part of her counseling of clients that are accused of business crimes and white-collar criminal conduct, Lynn has defended corporate entities against federal and state allegations of Medicare and Medicaid fraud. That includes defense of a major pharmaceutical company and sales representatives in federal off-label and anti-kickback investigations. She has also represented a "Big Four" accounting firm in a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, as well as in multi-jurisdictional professional malpractice litigation.
In pro bono work, Lynn has represented many victims of domestic violence in obtaining and enforcing restraining orders in district and superior court.
Before joining Foley Hoag, Lynn performed Hepatitis C and HIV research by constructing and analyzing mutant forms of enzymes involved in viral replication.
