Lynn Haug is a graduate with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She joined Ellison, Schneider & Harris in 1995. Lynn has practiced energy law in California since 1989, specializing in administrative litigation before the California Public Utilities Commission, the California Energy Commission, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She also has extensive experience in transactional work, advice on regulatory matters, and negotiation on behalf of public agencies, nonprofit entities and renewable energy producers. Lynn ’s substantive areas of emphasis include interconnection and transmission issues arising under the Federal Power Act, energy contract issues, rights of qualifying facilities under PURPA, the renewable incentive programs administered by the CEC, and supporting the electric utility functions of irrigation districts, municipal utility districts and other public entities. Lynn’s clients have included public entities such as the East Bay Municipal Utility District, several irrigation districts, and municipalities; nonprofit corporations such as the American Wind Energy Association, California Wind Energy Association, and the Western Electricity Coordinating Council; and large customers such as the California Department of General Services and Stanford University. |
