Lynn Butler serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining DHR, Ms. Butler ran her own search practice, Compass Search Partners for almost 3 years working with emerging technology, virtualization software, security and Wed 2.0 technology companies building out their customer facing organizations in addition to critical executive placements. Ms. Butler brings with her 25 years in Human Resource leadership roles in pioneering high technology companies such as Netscape, Calico Commerce, Sybase, DoveBid, Intel and Ungermann-Bass. She drove strategic human resource initiatives that included worldwide executive search and recruiting; organizational planning; executive development; merger and acquisition integration, and employee communications. In the last 7 years, Ms. Butler has led human resource initiatives in 2 IPO’s, 20 domestic and international acquisitions, the hiring of over 2,000 employees worldwide and several organizational re-structuring activities. She has also served as the Governance Chair for the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee member from 2000 to 2003 for Proctor Academy, a college preparatory boarding school in New Hampshire that specializes in secondary education for the motivated experiential student. Ms. Butler attended University of Santa Clara and majored in Business Administration.
