Lynn A. Lednicky was named Executive Vice President, Commercial and Development in January 2007.
Lednicky has responsibility for overseeing the commercialization of the company's generation portfolio, which will grow to approximately 20,000 megawatts upon the closing of the LS Power combination. He will also lead the company's analysis and pursuit of greenfield development projects through its interest in a 50/50 joint venture with LS Power. Lednicky, a member of the company's Executive Management Team since 2005, reports to Stephen A. Furbacher, President and Chief Operating Officer of Dynegy Inc.
Lednicky joined Dynegy predecessor Destec Energy, Inc. in 1991. His previous positions with the company include Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Business Development, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Business Development and Senior Vice President of Power Origination, where he was responsible for wholesale power origination activities. Past responsibilities also include the commercial management of Dynegy's generation assets.
Lednicky received both his bachelor's of arts and master's of business administration from Rice University. |
