For more than 25 years, Lane was executive vice president of administration for The Koll Company, one of the largest real estate services companies in the nation. In the late 1980s, Lane's unique approach of managing human resources as a business resulted in HR being viewed as a tactical advantage that differentiated Koll from its competitors. She played a key role in the acquisition and successful integration of more than 30 companies and 3,500 employees into Koll. In 1996, Lane created Strategic HR, a full-service human resources company. In just 16 months and following the acquisition of two HR-related companies, Lane built Strategic HR to $10 million in revenue. Lane is a graduate of California State University, Fresno with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
